What a start to the CLIM-E-DO! project!
The team from Franziskusgymnasium Wels showed today what real climate commitment looks like: despite icy, wintery conditions, the dedicated students planted their very first tree — and set a powerful example.
As soon as the project kicked off, the students had a clear vision:
Their contribution should be visible, concrete, and impactful.
A tree in Wels — right where trees matter most: in urban spaces that cool our living and learning environments, enhance quality of life, and play a key role in the CO₂ cycle.
At Franziskusgymnasium Wels, they didn’t wait around. Just a few weeks into the project, the first tree is already standing tall.
Hats off to so much dedication, motivation, and hands-on climate action!
A wonderful reminder that climate protection can truly grow locally — when the soil is fertile
A big THANK YOU to the students of class 4b at Franziskusgymnasium Wels!
